Klaman & Co. is a nonprofit organization using culture as infrastructure for connection, collaboration, and opportunity. Through programs, experiences, and partnerships, we amplify African and diaspora perspectives while creating pathways to leadership, belonging, cultural exchange, and economic development.
We believe culture is not a side conversation.
It is infrastructure for trust, connection, and shared growth.
Culture as infrastructure for connection, collaboration, and opportunity.

Why CULTURE MATTERS?
Culture is more than what we inherit, preserve, or celebrate. It shapes how we see ourselves and others, how we communicate and build trust, and how we connect, collaborate, lead, and participate.
Yet cultural expression is often separated from the relationships, systems, and opportunities it can help create. Representation does not always lead to participation, and communities can have tremendous knowledge, talent, and cultural assets without meaningful access to networks, platforms, leadership, or opportunity. Organizations, meanwhile, may want to engage across cultures but lack the relationships and understanding to do so meaningfully.
Klaman & Co. works in this space—creating bridges between culture and connection, representation and participation, relationships and collaboration, and opportunity and contribution.
We believe culture is not simply something we celebrate—it is infrastructure: a foundation for how people connect, communities thrive, organizations collaborate, and opportunity moves forward.

ABOUT US
A Cculture as infrastructure for connection, collaboration, and opportunity.
Klaman & Co. uses culture as infrastructure for connection, collaboration, and opportunity. We amplify African and diaspora perspectives while creating spaces and pathways for people, communities, and organizations to connect across cultures, build understanding, develop leadership, and create meaningful opportunities.
Through programs, cultural experiences, educational initiatives, and partnerships, we bring culture into the spaces where relationships are built, ideas are exchanged, and possibilities become action.
From shared heritage to shared opportunities.

Our approach
We believe culture can be more than something we celebrate. It can be infrastructure for building relationships, creating understanding, and opening pathways to opportunity.
Our 4 COs Framework is how we put that belief into action—bringing people, perspectives, and possibilities together and moving them toward meaningful contribution.
CONNECTION
Bring people together. We create opportunities for people, communities, leaders, and organizations to connect across cultures, experiences, and borders. Connection creates relationships.
CONVERSATION
Create space for understanding and exchange. We create spaces for stories, perspectives, knowledge, and experiences to be shared—fostering dialogue, cultural exchange, and belonging. Conversation creates understanding.
Collaboration
Turn relationships into opportunity. We connect people and organizations around shared interests and possibilities, creating partnerships and initiatives that can move ideas forward. Collaboration creates opportunity.
Contribution
Turn opportunity into impact. We create pathways for people and communities to contribute through leadership, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, cultural expression, and economic participation. Contribution creates impact.
