Johanne Gnagne is an international affairs and community engagement professional, entrepreneur, and founder committed to building meaningful connections across cultures, communities, and borders.

 

With more than 16 years of experience across higher education, international programs, community engagement, and cross-border collaboration, Johanne has developed and managed international programs, built institutional partnerships, engaged diverse communities, and created opportunities at the intersection of education, culture, and economic development.

 

Her experience spans the United States and Canada, as well as international markets including the Middle East, China, South Korea, Mexico, and Brazil. She has worked with universities, public institutions, community organizations, and international stakeholders, bringing together people, resources, and partnerships around shared goals.

 

In addition to leading Klaman & Co., Johanne is the founder of AkanQ, a consulting practice that helps organizations, businesses, and leaders navigate cultural complexity, build meaningful partnerships, and connect with communities, markets, and opportunities across cultures, countries, and continents.

Through AkanQ, her work brings together international business, cross-cultural intelligence, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem development, with a particular focus on helping organizations navigate new markets and build meaningful connections between North America and African markets.
